Is She Your Wonder Woman?

Yesterday we reported that Australian actress Victoria Hill had recently auditioned for the part of Wonder Woman in George Miller’s Justice League of America live-action movie. Well it looks the like question of the week will be: Who will play Wonder Woman as another actress steps up to the challenge.

It has been reported that Jessica Biel (The Illusionist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) is in talks to swing the lasso of truth. Her representatives have said it’s far too early to know if a deal will happen and of course, Warner Bros. don’t want to confirm the rumour.

Beautiful she may be, but Biel is far too tiny to play Wonder Woman. After all, this Superhero was known for her 6’3” frame and her curvaceous long legs and Jessica only stands at 5’7½”

It’s not that I don’t like Jessica Biel, but her acting isn’t great and I just really don’t think she’d make a good Wonder Woman. If Warner Bros. is going to make Justice League of America they need casting to be on point because many people have their own perceptions of what the Superheroes should look like and get it wrong, there will be a lot of disappointed faces in the theatres!

P.S: Warner Bros. - Tom Welling as Superman please : ) anyone agree?

You are absolutely right. Beil is the wrong choice. But this is Warner Bros. And the Corperate’s have a huge imput in their movie’s. They don’t read, or pay any attention to detail or tradition. Which is why this particular casting will hurt the Wonder Woman faithfull. Nadia Bjorlin should be the one. She was meeting with them about 2 months ago. She looks the part and has a body too boot. She is Wonder Woman on all levels, yet we are getting Beil.It reminds me of when Alicia Silverstone got the part of Batgirl in Batman and Robin. It’s really ashame.
