children online

It seems that Wi-Fi is a danger for kids online and that there is no control over the websites in where children can access what they want when they are in a WiFi hotspot. I read about this from Sky News and of which you can learn more about it on this weeks Technofile. There is in fact nothing at all that can stop what people accessed in public place Telindus the research company said.

James Walker who is a spokesman told Technofile that you could go and find how to build a bomb or even to a porn site, which means it does not matter if you are an adult or not because you kids could be searching for this content or even watching someone else searching for it.

John Carr a spokesman for a children’s charity told Sky News in short that they are campaigning for several years in where they want all devices like phones, PDA’s and any internet devices which has security pre-installed at the point of sale.

I say – This is quite disturbing and something really needs to be done, I know for a fact that parents would not want this sort of thing happening to them where their kids gets to see such stuff on the net.
