Sundance Horror Movie Teeth: Released November 30
By: Lucy | September 24, 2007
One of the star films at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival was a small indie horror flick simply titled “Teeth”. The movie follows the story of a High School student named Dawn who has teeth in her, um, vagina. I’m not kidding!
At the festival, the film received rave reviews, many from women who loved the movie. Most men, however, seemed to be a little disturbed by the movie.
This didn’t stop Sundance from awarding Jess Weixler with the Special Dramatic Jury Prize for acting. The film was quickly snapped up by Weinstein Co and Lionsgate, who promised to keep the film uncut.
Reports have claimed that the film will finally be getting a theatrical release. Roadside Attractions will release the film in Los Angeles and New York on November 30. Teeth will then expand to a small nationwide release in mid-December.
