Hercules launching first handheld wireless DJ controller with cordless headset

The first handheld wireless DJ controller is to be launched by Hercules which will also feature a cordless headset.

This wireless DJ controller is apparently an upgrade to the current product they do (the Mobile DJ MP3), the new product has a vital feature: a preview function via the cordless headset.

If you are a DJ of any sort, we would love to hear your comments about the need for a handheld wireless DJ controller.

The track preview function will let the “DJ” select and preview the next track with the cordless headset and that’s even while the current track is playing.

Although I am sure this is not for the professional DJ, I am sure it’s a cool device for “at-home” DJs.

All you got to-do is connect to a USB port on a computer and the RF transmitter will broadcast to the handheld so the DJ can control the music from anywhere in the room via the dual display.

The Hercules Mobile DJ Preview Ed will also include software and is said to be for sale around October 2007.
