Halo 3 so good would gamers buy Microsoft Xbox 360 just to play it?

Microsoft Xbox 360 Halo 3

The highly anticipated game for the Xbox 360 Halo 3 is said to be one of the best games in a very long time, many gamers and reviewers loved the fact the game has superb settings, brilliant multiplayer features and one of the best cinematic feelings of all time. In 2001 the final chapter of a trilogy which launched on the original Microsoft Xbox was good back then but nothing like it is today on the Xbox 360 which is understandable as times and technology has changed in the past 6 years.

I checked out over at GameSpy and they gave the awesome game Halo 3 a massive 5 stars which is their top rank and what I like most of all is the fact they said the game is so good that it was worth in fact buying an Xbox 360 just to play the Halo 3 game.

Halo 2 packed a punched with a staggering $125 million in its first day but we know for a fact that Halo 3 will smash that if not beat any game sale of all time, the game which is set for sale on 25th September will sell so fast it is unreal and will warn you get in the queue or see a disappointing end to your day if you do not.

I have a few questions for you –

1. Is Halo 3 just a massive hype, will it live up to the hype?
2. Would you buy an Xbox 360 just to play Halo 3?
3. Will this game smash all game sales records?

    Is it worth getting an Xbox 360 just to play Halo 3, in short YES.

    But then I would also wait to better chips come out on the 360 to combat overheating.

    I play on my xbox360 all the time, no signs of overheating, my box doesnt even get hot! Then again it is on its own shelf, and the power supply is on its own so i get a good airflow.
    Buy one, they are cheap as you like :¬)

    I traded my ps3 for the xbox 360- (no games! heavenly sword and lair was a major let down) who cares if it gives the rrod! now i have a 3 year warrenty and halo3+ mass effect+ bio shock and just about everything ps3 has as well!

    1)Halo 3 is massively overhyped but its still will be an awesome game.

    3)Hell yes it will smash game sale records. Hopefully it can get into the top twenty games sold of all time.

    1. It’s hype grew when GTA4 was delayed.
    2. I bought an Xbox 360 just because of GTA4, and now all I have is Halo to play.
    3. It will smash records until GTA4 finally arrives, then it will be just another Halo.
