It seems that booze-filled celebrities who can’t find their panties aren’t the only ones who appear behind bars these days. Die Hard director John McTiernan has been sentenced to four months in prison today for lying to federal agents.
McTiernan was one of seven defendants who pleaded guilty in connection with the conspiracy and racketeering case of Anthony Pellicano, who was charged with illegally wiretapping dozens of Hollywood celebrities and movie executives.
McTiernan, also director of hit movie The Predator, lied to the FBI when he told them he asked Pellicano to wiretap Rollerball producer Charles Roven. McTiernan pleaded guilty to the charge in April 2006.
