Warhawk on Sony PS3 vs Halo 3 on Xbox 360

you Joking, I think that halo 3 wons by a mile stone because of its story line because of the fact it does have a single player mode and probably a great one a that. As for online I can’t really say, Ive never played warhawk or halo 3 online so I don’t know. But if its better than halo 2 ‘s online then I would go with halo 3. And I hope that its is better because I don’t have a ps3 lol.

Halo 3 is going to be a good solid game, but it is looking very tired at this point. The big features MS is hyped about seem…not that big to me. The in game recording is cool but for the average gamer it won’t be that big of a deal and it doesn’t take the actual game play to a new level.

The moding of the “forge” is neat but over the top – where is the challenge if you can summon anything at any moment? They went too far.

So back to the main game, the basic improvements are just not enough to make the experience anything other than Halo 2 amped up. Bungie spent most of their time on the recording and “Forge” customizations when the actual game play needed innovation but I think they really haven’t been able to take it to the next level after Halo 1.

Warhawk on the other hand is very cool and less cartoony than Halo 3 has become. The distance that Halo players fly, for example, when they are shot or blown up is ridiculous at this point and it has made the game a bit like Wile E Coyote vs the Road Runner. The simplicity of Warhawks multiplayer just makes it seem more enjoyable.

Bottom line Halo 3 is good but the simplicity and newness (Halo is stale now) of Warhawk make it the more enjoyable and better game.

Warhawk is so far in front of Halo3 online its not funny. There hasnt been an online game like Warhawk since BF1942 hit PC – its that big. If you haven’t played Warahwk, then you cannot possibly understand what you are missing. Halo’s firtst person shooter gaming, is “old and tired” FPS forumla. Warhawk is nothing like any shooter/online game you have played – and its soooo nicely balanced its impressive. The developers Incognito deserve huge respect for their deign and gameplay development skills – Warhawk is my own personal new addiction.

haven’t played Halo 3 yet, so this is kind of a silly topic if you ask me, as the game hasn’t been released.. Warhawk on the other hand, even though it’s a game that takes from many other games as far as weapons and vehicles, I think the warhawk it self, is awesome when it comes to controlling, and it’s a very easy game, I suck at most multiplayers and I’m always getting my ass kicked, but with Warhawk I do fairly well..

I had a 360 but got rid of it when the cd tray stopped working and microsoft said i had to spend 70pounds (150 dollars) to repair it coz my warranty was out by 2 months. So i decided to go for the ps3. My feelings right now is the ps3 is a better made machine but it dooesnt have enough games obviously. However in the next 6 months, it will have some amazing games on it and some stuff u dont get on 360: ratchet and clank, GT prologue, metal gear solid, buzz, singstar, pro evo. Nyways back to the topic, halo 3 is goin a great game and so is warhawk. however neither game are goin b the best game ever.

i gta say warhawk. i dont think i have ever been addicted to a game since in my young (snes) days. halo 2 was good online but nothing phenominal like ms are hyping halo 3 and i dont think halo will be that much of a step up. but will be fun still.

You ps3 fanboys forgot to mention that there will be 4 player online co-op for the campaign mode. Not to mention that Warhawk is not a fps, therefore appeals to fewer people. I see that sales for the ps3 actually dropped last month when Warhawk came out and it only garnered a 84 Metacritic score. Point made.

Having both a PS3 and a 360, I have enjoyed Warhawk far more than the Halo3 beta, I don’t think Bungie have done anything considerable since the beta.

In my eyes, Warhawk on PS3 is definately the superior game.

Hello folks. Another pathetic article. Please don’t insult our intelligence by trying to put Warcawk on the same level as Halo 3, or should I say, trying to put Halo 3 down on the same level as that joke of a game.

Are you people so fan based that you will say anything to save your PS3′s from being doomed. I spend £40 ($80) on warhawk and felt so ripped off that it made me feel angry towards Sony for letting it be released as it was. I waited months for a good game for my PS3 after playing the two games I get with it, yes I should have done a little more reading about the game I admit but I listened to Sony at E3 and all the hype and got it. As a Multi-player is OK not good but not bad, but where is the game !!!!. I could have kepted playing Battlefield which is so much better and that would have been free….

The only reason we are comparing H3 to WH on multiplayer alone is because thats all it has, which is a crime… when I spend £40 I expect a full game. You wouldn’t go to the Cinima and just whatch the end credits now would you.. and you all say oohh “warhawk is miles a head” talk sensable its crap and we were all ripped of and nice Sony are sat there saying they are that desperate for games they will by any old rubbish and we do…. at least MS have got a good game that will be worth the £40 I will pay for it.. How can you say that Halo 3 has tired gameplay, but Battlefield has done what warhawk has been doing for along time. Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2: Special Forces, Battlefield Euro Force, Battlefield Armored Fury. So I would say Warhawk is looking more tired than Halo 3. In all fairness this is the dumbest comparison I have seen thus far. One game is totally mp the other is not, Halo 3 isnt even out.

It is funny to me that the only people knocking Halo 3 are PS3 lovin platform gamers. The main reason is PS fans hate FPS games the funny part is they hate them because of Sony. PS FPS games suck because of the wack ass controller designed for little girly man hands so they never quite felt right or hand any kind of accuracy. Xbox on the other hand has the single best console controller for FPS period and that is why Halo was such a phenom. It was the game that proved FPS can be done on home consoles just fine. If last generation all you had was a PS2 then I understand why you are a Halo hater. Seriously though warhawk versus Halo that is funny. Halo 3 has sold more copies in preorders than warhawk a cheap knock off multiplayer game will in its lifetime. Hell you could take Warhawk, Heavonly Sword, and Lair’s total sales so far and Halo 3 has sold more than them combined and it hasn’t even come out. Face it Halo 3 is going to be a great game with awesome multiplayer just acept it because all of your friends will be telling you about it real soon anyway. I can understand the Xbots being upset that Halo3 does not deliver, and is a produce based purely on hype, but many of the people here who think Halo 3 is better, have never even played Warkhawk, nor do they own a PS3.

I have both consoles, and I enjoy Warhawk, a hell of a lot more than the Halo3 (I got the Argos “early edition”, and am very disappointed with it).

What the hell are you talking about? The Halo 3 beta was online multiplayer only. Most of the games were trimmed down for less people or stayed the same (when compared to Halo 2).

In terms of multiplayer only, Halo wins. Why? Halo has 4 player online co-op in addition to greatly improved online multiplayer.

Warhawk has by far more depth than Halo3, which is justg another shooter.

The Halo series is tired old horse, propped up by Microsoft marketing.

Actually I am comparing the final version of the game, it was released early by accident in the UK in Argos stores.

Start this poll next week, after people have had a chance to play one of the games in question, because right now it’s pointless. You might as well be asking if Warhawk’s online play is better than Duke Nukem Forever’s.

Even if you run it next week, the vote won’t be meaningful as too may will vote for their console of choice instead of on the merits of either game. There aren’t many folks who can shell out for both of the consoles… so most won’t be able to make a fair comparison in any case.

Me? I’ve been a die-hard Halo fan for four years now and I don’t have a PS3… so I’ll just stay quiet except to say that both games promise to give players a lot of fun over the next few years.

I loved Halo 3 beta, best experience online since Socom, Battlefield 1942, and Gears of War, but then my 360 kicked the bucket, I was going to get the 360 elite to play Halo3, but in a moment of spontinuity, my gf downloaded Warhawk from the PSN, … HALO… Rest in Peace, I’ll miss the late nights bitching about how Sony screwed up, and has no games etc, but it’s simply no longer true, and as long as y’all are being ignorant fanboys, you’ll be missing out on the best online console game to date.

Halo 3 is over hyped and yes I have played it already. It’s not the greatest game I’ve ever played and it feels like the same old Halo. Nothing new really. The graphics aren’t that great either. I would give it a 7.5. You’ll see what I’m taking about in a few days.

My brother is on his 3 XBox 360 due to the 3 death rings and I’m on my first PS3 for a almost a year now and never had any problems. I know now that my brother is always hook on to my PS3 playing Warhawk almost everyday now. And I feel the same way ever since buying Warhawk I’m so hooked up to Warhawk ever since the Beta version this is a must have game…

The clue here people is in the name. Halo 3, its been done twice over and theres nothing new enough about it to warrant the MS generated hype its getting. It must be tough when the system your daddy bought for ya hasnt got a scrap of original gaming on it and you have to rely on updates and rehashes of old titles to light your fire but £20 for warhawk is the gaming bargain of the decade.
So you made the wrong choice when you told your folks you wanted a 360 last christmas, if it hasnt blown up already it will soon and you can ask for a ps3 this year. Just remember you’ll have to be good boys and girls if you want santa to bring you the best multiplayer game yet. WARHAWK OWNS THE SERVERS OF THE WORLD.(and as the servers are also ps3s they wont crash and burn with a red ring o death)

Loving Warkhawk at the moment, it’s seriously good.. I liked Halo 2, but not overly interested in Halo 3. I may pick it up later.

I just got Warhawk and I think it is like nothing I’ve played before. At first I thought it was a little too unrealistic, but then I was overcome by its addictivness and that turned the tide away from Halo 3 (I mean come on…Halo 3 is just as unrealistic if not more so). The smoothness of play with so many people is also amazing. One thing I did notice, is that not many people communicate in the game with their headsets. Hopefully they will learn. Congrats to the makers of Warhawk.

Halo is a bit old and tired…1 & 2 were great 3 doesnt go as far as I would have liked it to be. Killzone will probably best the Halo title. Warhawk is good but comparatively you cant compare the two all tht much but if I were to I would have to go with Warhawk. Its a richer more developed game.

Halo 3 doesn’t look good? Then why are all the reviews coming out saying that it is the shit? Speaking of reviews how come when the 360 has a AAA title it gets good reviews and when Sony does they are Lair 5, Heavonly Sword 7-8, and Warhawk 8. I mean GOW 9-10, Bioshock 9-10, Halo 3 9-10 and so on.

Well truth the sales speak for themselves. I just got a chance to play warhawk all I can say is zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Battlefield 2 in crappy third person.

It must suck tryting to justify a $600 blueray player especially since the first real game the Sony Fans get behind is multiplayer only warhawk. I mean a $40 game versus Halo 3 get real and stop kidding yourself. Warhawk is mercanaries with futuristic crap that you can play online whhhhooooooooaaaaaaa it is like revolutionary! Halo on the other hand has 1. made FPS a viable genre on home consoles, 2. brought multiplayer to the masses on home consoles, 3. has 4 player coop for the campaign, Film saves, Forge, DM, TDM,CTF, millions of other gamers to play with/against, and too top it off a freakin soda for Christ sake so “jump in” or be left “waiting beyond”! KAZ HIRA said it best “we can’t lowwer the price because we don’t have the content to sustain the system”. Just think for the cost of a PS3 you could get a Xbox 360, Gears of War, Halo3,and Mass Effect. That is just my choices there are plenty of other highly touted games in all genres except kiddy crap, as an ault that suits me just fine how about you?

I own both Playstation 3 nad xbox 360 , untill recently i have always been mainly an xbox user , but i have to say Warhawk is fantastic, i would also say that heavenly sword which i must say i quite short but apart from that is a master piece , the 360 could never accomplish a game with some much depth , it really is amazing , i wasnt expecting much because it wasnt getting the best scores but all i can say is buy a copy.
The halo games in general are alot of fun , but online does get shit at times because of all the cheeting , to me this ruin’s my experience and halo is well known for this.
Go and buy a PS3 if your a serious gamer , you will see the benifits.

Well lets see physics are way off, characters look goofy. Even scaled down maps are way to big for 32 players. Explosions look like crap, water that kills you. You cant change from third person to first person, not even with the vehicles. I do have one thing good to say about it, it is very nice to see a multiplayer only game coming from a console.

a person cannot judge a ps3 game with an x360 game, because 360 has been out for at least 2 years while ps3 is less then a year old. Games for the 360 are at its 98% potential while ps3 hasnet even reached 60% yet, so for those people who are saying oh xbox games rulz u should be shot in the head because you just cant justify and compare games that are totally far part in their development i.e. cant compare GOW with Heavenly sword or cant even compare warhawk with halo 3 this is just stupid and if you complain with this statement then there is no point in argueing because no matter how much of this statement is true dum@sses think otherwise and say ooooOOo x360 FTW u just cant compare FFS! so wait at least 1 and a half more years or wait until God of War 3 or FF13 and FF13 versus comes out then judge because by then when they get released im pretty sure ps3′s potential will be reliased as far greater than x360

It didn’t look all that great at first, but after being killed off by the same guy, I got stuck trying to get my revenge. Next thing you know I’m hooked. Forget Halo 3, Warhawk baby!!

I have to agree with sinn1. I thought this game was horrible at first but after playing it for an hour I was addicted. I can’t seem to put it down now.

FYI.. I heard the Halo 3 Limited Editions are getting scratched because of the disc holder inside. The disc is coming loose and getting scatched by the holder in the tin case. Way to go Microsoft! Should have expected this. Maybe they’ll have a 3 year warranty on this as well.

To comply with the blog Warhawk online is better than Halo 3 online if you are just comparing online but it’s not fair to Halo 3 as Warhawk ended up being developed for online only later in it’s life. If you want to compare game to game well then Halo 3 no doubt but also Warhawk is ony $40 while Halo 3 is $60.

1) For those who say you can’t compare Warhawk and Halo 3, why the hell are you commenting on an article that does exactly that and wants comments on which online experience is better.

2) My opinion (having played both) is that Halo 3 beats out Warhawk because of the tremendous amount of stuff to do online in Halo 3. Halo 3 has forge (an online multiplayer map editor), 4 player co-op, standard online deathmatch stuff, and you can share replays/screen shots from any of the above matches. Warhawk simply does not have that depth or replayability.

3) Warhawk is good. It is reasonably fun and engaging. But it has less replay value when compared to Halo 3. I think that is unarguably fact. My opinion, however, is also that Halo 3 online is more fun and engaging than warhawk. Halo 3 is just a more well thought out game.

Lastly, ps3 fanboys, please do not make excuses for warhawk by complaining about its development cycle. We are not comparing what couldve been, only what is. And Halo 3 is better.

Hey Jim, if you want to compare what is, then wait until midnight tonight when you get your copy of Halo 3. No one needs to make excuses for Warhawk. For $40 it’s one of the best games of the year. Forget 4 player co-op, how about 16 player co-op?

This is perhaps the stupidestblog ever but here goes anyway. Sony said coming out in the spring (lie), Warhawk will have a single player campaign (lie), Blueray is needed for HD games (lie), Rumble is last gen (lie), and 4d graphics(lie) yet Sony Fanboys still suck them off any chance they get. I don’t see how you can compare a game that has only sold 130,000 copies to a game that has sold close to 2 million before it even comes out seriously think about that. Compare the Multiplayer you say ok Halo 3 has TDM, DM, Ctf, TCTF, Forge, Player matches, Ranked matches, clan tournements, and campaign coop meaning that yes we have the right to compare Halo 3 campaign to Warhawks lack there of. Halo 3 reviews are much higher than warhawks yet you say that warhawk has an underlined “deep” story LMFAO! Warhawk is Mercanaries online with fewwer vehicles, and maps than are availiable in Halo 3 or Battlefield 2. If you think otherwise you are a tard and deserve to pay $600 just to brag about a half game with some shitty graphics. I wish someone would put some screens up of both games finished product side by side. Then you could say what you want but in the end after today ask all of your friends what they think is better. This is supposed to be comparing online play to online play. Everybody know that Halo 3 overall is probably better than Warhawk but thats not what is being compare. All companies say things that they never live up to.
Microsoft said that PS3 can’t output a game in 1080p with 60fps yet the had NBA 07 at launch doing it, MS said no one will want HDMI that is why it’s not on their system yet the Elite came out and new 360′s are having it included. MS said 20gb is enough yet 120gb HDD. MS also said their system failure rate is 3%-5% and that was a load a garbage as well:)

Comon people, comparing a succesor to one of the top franchises of all time, both in sales and in hours played and popularity, with a noname one-dimentional comercial game that is not even FPS? who are we kidding? what are we trying to force here?

Halo is far from a gaming phenomena, if you think it’s a ‘phenomenon’ as you say, then you’re just quoting people that sold the fucking bullshit to those 12 million people, and FYI … FFVII on psOne has outsold HALO+HALO2+HALO3 to date… so judging by your xbox beats ps3 formula, because it has been out for a year longer and sold more units, then it should be more phenomenal right? correct?
Well I think so… because while technologically inferior to games such as halo etc, it does happen to be an rpg with an excellent storyline, more story in it’s opening cutscenes and dialog than Halo+Halo2+Halo3 put together. More talented/artistic individuals work on any Square Enix title than all of Microsoft’s first party dev’s put together, PS3 motto should be Gaming = Art … xbox’s motto will slowly turn to Gaming = work/waste of time.

Guess what they have for last two years brought some of the best games and this holiday is just starting with Halo 3. Like most people on this topic have voted, I will say halo 3. Warhawk is not in its league. Im sorry sony fanboys but its a bit sad that you don’t have any actual really DECENT games to compare to halo, and people who say that it dosen’t live up to the hype have not played it.

I have both a PS3 and a 360, and I enjoy Warhawk more. I’ve had Halo3 since last Wednesday, as Argos in the UK released it early by mistake.

Halo3 = better graphics (if somewhat didgy framerates at times)

Ok, let me start out by saying, I love Halo. Yet, after playing Warhawk at my friends, I loved the game as well. Also, I’ve been a devout Nintendo fan since the fricken NES. So, I have Pros and Cons for each and every system, but since this is purely based off Warhawk and Halo 3, I’ll keep it short. Warhawk is beautiful, but like most people say, it’s all the PS3 has got really. PS3 has been stumblign since day 1. They had crappy Launch games, except Resistance, which was an OK game. But, lets not fool ourselves here… I heard so much stuff about the PS3 and how it would crush the Xbox 360… where’s the crushing? Oh, that’s right, it’s the 360 doing the pwning here. Personally, I think Halo 3 is overall a betetr game, but not saying Warhawk is a bad game.

So, my vote would be Halo 3, but comparing an FPS to a third-person game? HA! You’re gonna have just a biased opinions in here. And for those people who don’t know what biased means, It means nobody’s gonna come in here with an open mind to discuss this. They’re gonna rush in here, defending their precious console and precious games. Liek many have said before, this topic is truly pointless.

Alright, I have returned after purchasing Halo 3 to discuss which is better.

My opinion remains the same, Halo 3 is more fun. Some have said it is impossible to compare. I disagree. Somethings about them can’t be compared. But the fun you have playing them sure can.

Again, Halo 3 wins. Why? Because of depth and replayability.

1) When me and my friends had an awesome game in a multiplayer stage, we decided we wanted to watch a few spectacular kills that we had each gotten. After the game we all jumped into the theater and watched the game again. We fast forwarded to all the exciting parts and then slowed them down, broke out into a free roaming cam and watched the carnage from every angle while laughing and talking the whole time.

2) Forge. Some people knock it, but it is addictive. You can literally do anything. Dropping tanks on teammates is fun, creating your on gametypes like baseball or a race type scenario with everyone in vehicles and going crazy with rockets. It’s just fun.

3) The standard multiplayer stuff. CTF, slayer, VIP, elimination….yada yada yada. Halo has them all.

4) Co-op campaign (the campaign can be played online as well with 4 people, which is why I’m comparing it to Warhawk, because it is a form of online multiplayer. The experience is fantastic. You can turn on scoring (teams of FFA) and it makes campaign very addictive.

Lastly, warhawak is a good game. Is it great? Its close. Halo 3 has enough online content to make everyone happy with at least something. If you don’t like the core of warhawk’s gameplay, then there’s nothing else to redeem the game. That is why Halo 3 is better.

Its not developers shying away from PS3 as them being bought away. MS bought the ip for Gears, Bioshock, Halo (well they just bought Bungie) When the ip is not bought buy MS a lot of companies decide to go multiplatform or drop the 360 such as Kane & Lynch, Enternal Sonata, Haze, UT3, etc.

Anyone can list games as both systems have awesome games to play so that is a mute point. Remember 360 didn’t move any systems until one great game came out called Gears.

I played Halo 3. Its fun but a let down. I beat campaign in 7 hours on heroic by myself and in less than 6 hours on legendary for 3 other friends. I guess I expected more with it being Halo and on the 360 but I was let down. I had fun because while playing online I was like this is Halo 2 with a some better graphics. I had more fun with Gears and Bioshock. I still have more fun with Warhawk online than Halo 3 online. If you didn’t like Halo 2 you won’t like Halo 3 because it’s more of the same.

This article is retarded. It’s unfair to compare Warhawk with Halo 3. The online game play is different on both games. Plus Halo 3 is obviously the 3rd game of the franchise allowing for a bigger fan base and better improvements. Warhawk was an original title on the PS1 and made into an Online game for the PS3. How about 9 years from now we compare Warhawk 3 from the PS4 to a new online title on the Xbox 420.

Anyway, now that the numbers are in, we can finally see which game is better online.

Here’s the short of it. Warhawk sold about 200,000 copies. So that’s 5 percent of the installed base. Let’s say that during peak gaming hours, warhawk has 50,000 people online (a high estimate). So that is 25 percent of the people that own the game and a little over 1 percent of the installed base.

Halo 3 sold AT LEAST 2 million copies, probably more by now (1.7 million preorders, in case you wondered). That is 18 percent of the installed base. During peak gaming hours (7pm-midnight) halo 3 has about 600,000 players online. That is 30 percent of people who bought the game and 6 percent of the installed base.

This is still true even after adjusting for the game’s release date.

You Sony fanboys are mad because Halo is better than warhawk. You can’t even argue the point at hand but post fake comments under sinn1′s name to portray us as homosexual xbox faboys. Does your game/console suck so bad that you have to personally insult anyone who insults your one decent game and console? Nothing Halo does is new to FPS. I has not changed the way FPS are played but it’s still fun. Please read I am not saying the game is bad just that its a fun FPS but I don’t think I have seen something on a FPS that I said well Halo started that.Hell Halo 3 didn’t even bring HD to the table.

Bungie just put a lot of cool things That were done before and done now in the FPS universe in Halo.

Forge is just a map editor. You take something that already exist and change it. Been done in Unreal and even freaking Tony Hawk. Except Unreal lets you create the map not just edit an existing one.

Skulls are just hidden codes. So your telling me there has never ben a game where you had to find something to give you extra lives or extra armor make it harder, man even Ninja Gaiden Sigma had this where you found the Team Ninja Logo.

Theater mode. Yeah that nothing new either considering its something every sports game has.

All this stuff is new to the Halo franchise but not other games.

Yeah, I got one of those friends who sucks the saggy Halo teet night and day. He also thinks blue is a delicious color and that biological warfare is a twinkie on a fishing line. I absolutely hate sitting and playing Halo 3, erm, I mean, Halo with bloom effects and turrets, with this guy. It’s not even him. I mean, oh great, you can play their awful campaign online with four people. What is that supposed to be? It’s not as great as single player, and it’s not as great as multiplayer. It’s just a hybrid which really did not satisfy at all.

Everybody is just in denial. None of you who went out and waited in line for six hours for a copy of Halo (with bloom effects and turrets) wants to admit that they were overhyped.

Warhawk? It’s just great. Nice to see a game that focuses on the multplayer aspect. If I wanted a complex campaign with a twisted story, I’d only play RPGs, like Final Fantasy.

FYI, Sales don’t indicate the amount of people who like a game. Once you have a PS3, you aren’t going to buy another, unless you’re either irrational or a big LAN enthusiast. Sales have actually gone very well for the PS3, but people are actually playing their PS3s, instead of repurchasing their faulty 360s so they can live in denial with everyone else they know who overhyped for Halo, but with bloom effects and turrets. Also, not only is the vast majority of the gaming public unaware of Warhawk’s existance, but many people can’t buy it due to the fact that they don’t have an internet connection to play. Halo 3? My idiodic friend has bought three copies and the legendary copy. I’m sure he’s not the only one.

For god’s sake, it’s a game with a generic nameless character where aliens want to destroy earth. Quit acting like it’s the most original game in the world, because nothing was ever original about it. It was fun when it first came out, but they keep releasing the same thing with a patch over it! Who charges $20 bucks for a map pack anyway? Most map packs are just free, and I just refuse to stick out more than $10 for something that should have been in the game in the first place. Halo with energy swords and Halo with bloom effects and turrets should have both been single player expansion packs in the bargain bin for $20.

I’ll repeat myself. At the time of your posting, the PS3 was, in fact, $400, the price of a 360.

Um, actually, that first item you put on that list actually matches the price of the object you are comparing it to. 400 + 60 + 60 + 60 does NOT equal 400. Oh, and those games have also been released for the PC.

Oh, and by the way, Dan, your post above this one (which taking it apart would actually take too long) lists many games that not only exist for PS3, but have existed on the PC BEFORE the 360. Do you seriously believe that the 360 was where Oblivion hit first? Seriously? Are you actually serious? At the time of that post, I actually did have more superior games. Motorstorm is the only racing game I have ever enjoyed (besides Test Drive 6, but Motorstorm takes the cake!), and since it came with the console, it was nice and CHEAP. Resistance: Fall of Man was an excellent game. Warhawk, the game in question, has kept me busy for many months. Heavenly Sword was a really fun game with an interesting story. I do like how you threw Unreal Tournament 3 into your argument, since the PS3 version can run mods while the 360 version does not (and in reality, didn’t people play Unreal Tournament 2004 three times longer because of the mods? I did!). I’m eager for the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War III. Most of the games you listed were either generic titles or multiplatform. I don’t expect an intelligent argument from you if you ever reply. In fact, I don’t expect full sentences. I just expect abused words, false arguments, and poorly designed insults. The world laughs at you and people with that ignorant point of view. But hey, at least you have your Halo train, right?

So everybody doesn’t like comparing Warhawk to Halo with bloom effects and turrets because Warhawk hasn’t sold as much as Halo? Ok, well let’s try something different. Why don’t we compare the movie Titanic to Halo with bloom effects and turrets? I mean, some of the things people are saying, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turned into a whole new argument. Here, I’ll start it off for you.

To see Titanic, you only had to pay $4, maybe a little higher depending on where you live. Oh, but to play Halo with bloom effects and turrets? You have to buy a faulty 360 and a copy of the game, which totals well over $5. I didn’t even watch Titanic. My at the time girlfriend wanted to go, and way back when, we just sat and made out in the theatre for hours. Never did that with Halo with bloom effects and turrets. Closest thing to it was listening to everyone whine and cry about lag and “cheaters”. After “seeing” Titanic, I never felt cheated out of my $8 for both tickets, although the price for soda was crazy. I could have used that free soda that Dan mentioned earlier. Halo with bloom effects and turrets, though, a friend of mine was so disgusted that he paid for it, that we all drove to the local grave yard, put the disk on a big rock, and smashed it with a sledge hammer. All in all, Titanic wins, although I find it offensive to compare Halo with bloom effects and turrets to Titanic, seeing as Halo with bloom effects and turrets hasn’t been played as much as Titanic has been seen.

I guess I’ve rambled enough, however. So, in my opinion, Warhawk is the better game because:
1) Sony hosted dedicated servers make finding a lagless crowded game pretty simple.
2) Don’t like infantry combat? Snag a ground vehicle or a Warhawk/Nemesis. Being in an air vehicle is essentially a different game in itself.
3) Two million people aren’t on the internet spraying bad grammar and ignorance about it.
4) The game is extremely balanced. Infantry have their own defenses against larger vehicles and vice versa, while all weapons occupy a different niche.
5) Warhawk requires a lot of team coordination to be really successful. When I played Halo with bloom effects and turrets, I felt like players were ENCOURAGED to play “commando”.
6) I really enjoyed the style and sounds of Warhawk.

I can’t say that Halo with bloom effects and turrets is a bad game, but it really isn’t anything new or impressive. I prefer the Unreal Tournament series over Halo in position for greater multiplayer FPS.

well i got both and i think halo 3 is better then warkhawk but know i cant play them becouse my halo 3 is broken and my PSN account is gone i dont remember the password! and i cant get it back becouse i have to say my name and i just put it on something over 18!

I play Warhawk all the time and just because its multiplayer doesnt mean its retarded.

In fact its more fun because it has the human factor so the game is unpredictable.

I bet that in Halo 3 u dont get ranks… but Warhawk does. Im a Chief Sargent at the moment.

But really, in Warhawk, it makes the game REALISTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in warhawk we have 7 yahhh 7 different vehicles. The Dropship, Jetpack, APC, Nemisis, Warhawk, Tank, and the 4X4. Im not done… beware
