Madeleine McCann’s Father: ‘Intruder Was Hiding In Flat’

The father of the girl who was abducted whilst on holiday in Portugal has spoken out with what he believes is the most justifiable idea for his missing daughter, Madeleine McCann.
Gerry McCann believes he may have been just a few feet away from the intruder who took his precious daughter, Madeleine.
He also revealed that he thinks the abductor was actually hiding in the holiday apartment when he went to check on his three children on the devastating day of May 3.
A friend of the McCann family added:
“Initially he thought that Madeleine might have got up and gone to the toilet or gone to get a drink or something, but now he thinks that the abductor must have been in there hiding.”
“He believes he came in, opened the door and didn’t have time to close it.”
“Once Gerry had left he would have known he had to come out very quickly, and because Gerry went out through the patio door, went out through the window.”
“He has no proof but that is what he believes.”
Is this just an attempt to steer the police away from the case of the mother being the potential abducter?
Or does Gerry McCann honestly feel as though this could be the only way Madelein McCann could have been taken?
Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the McCann family.
His theory centres on a bedroom door which he remembers finding ajar in the Praia da Luz flat, a family friend said.
