Celebrities & Politics Don’t Work: Would Vanessa Hudgens get you to vote Ron Paul?
By: Daniel Chubb | September 22, 2007 | 5 CommentsDavid Beckham might be able to make you buy a soccer shirt, Paris Hilton might get you to purchase a chihuahua and even Britney Spears may get you to buy her underwear (since she does wear any much any more), but the celebrities do not have the same affect when it comes to politics.
According to a new survey, when people were asked if an endorsement from Kanye West would make them more or less likely to vote for a candidate, 4% said it would make them more likely to vote for that politician, but 15% said they’d be less likely to vote.
Now the survey was only of 1000 people so it could be misleading. If you think its misleading then let us know!
For our example we will use the popular celebrity, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens and the Internet’s favourite Presidential candidate, Ron Paul.
So, would an endorsement from Vanessa Hudgens make you more or less likely to vote for Ron Paul?
But some of the other celebrities who had a negative impact in the survey was Donald Trump, Jay Leno, Toby Keith and Bill O’Reilly!
However Donald Trump is not as appealing as someone like Vanessa Hudgens, so would Vanessa Hudgens make you vote for Ron Paul?
