Superhero Spoof Cast Line-up Announced

Riding the wave of ’success’ from the Scary Movie franchise, Dimension Films have finally announced the completed cast line-up for their upcoming superhero comedy spoof. The cast list is an eccentric mix of old and young and could possibly be the only good thing about the movie.

The cast includes:

• Drake Bell (Drake And Josh)
• Sara Paxton (Sydney White)
• Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore)
• Leslie Nielsen (The Naked Gun)
• Kevin Hart (Soul Plane)
• Marion Ross (Happy Days)
• Ryan Hansen (Palo Alto)
• Jeffrey Tambor (Hellboy)
• Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation)

You can tell my expectations of the film are low by saying that the cast list may well be the best thing about the movie. But then again, with Scary Movie 3 & 4 writer/director set to helm the project, I think I’m right to be assuming the worst.
