The Olympus Evolt-510 is better than the Evolt-410 in many ways but there is one problem “size matters” and the Evolt-510 is larger which some people might prefer but can be a real pain. But because of its size they have managed to pack a lot more in. Such as mechanical, sensor-shift image stabilization which the Evolt-410 does not have.
The Evolt 510 manages to hold its own when compared to its piers but it’s a bit larger than some but for a first digital camera it’s very good and simple to use while those with more experience will be able to manipulate it fully and see some stunning results with its fully customizable functions. The camera has a 2x focal length multiplier which gives the camera a good zoom and brilliant focus but can be a bit tricky fiddling around to try and fix the right lenses.
