LucasArts Confirmed Lightsaber Duels for Nintendo Wii’s Star Wars The Force Unleashed

This is the kind of news I love to hear and it’s mainly because I own a Nintendo Wii, so knowing that LucasArts has just confirmed officially that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is 100% coming to the Nintendo Wii with lightsaber duels…its cool.

I am not sure how good the lightsaber duels will be, but if they design it right this is going to be so much fun.

The Force Unleashed was already confirmed on the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, although the Wii has less in the way of graphics, it’s the fantastic interaction of the Wii that should make it a massive seller for the system.

What could make this game sell more Nintendo Wii’s is the fact that this is the first time the famous Star Wars lightsaber battles are being physically recreated on a games system…now whose up for a duel in early 2008?
