Film Legend Zsa Zsa Gabor Has Had Surgery

The extravagant Hungarian actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has had surgery on her legs to treat an infection. Gabor was in theatre for two hours at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.Her husband, Frederic von Anhalt was eagerly waiting for her operation to finish.

Doctors have said that they are hopeful the operation would be successful and the infection had not spread to the bone. The star, most famous for her many husbands and slapping a police officer, has recently suffered a bill of bad health.

In 2002, she was in a car accident which left her partially paralysed and two years later suffered from a stroke. Following the stroke, Gabor had emergency surgery to clear a blocked artery following the stroke.

Best known for her colourful private life than her acting, Gabor has definitely made her mark in Hollywood history. Her career peak was in the 1950’s, where she appeared in movies such as Moulin Rouge and the classis Orson Welles movie, Touch of Evil.

Zsa Zsa Gabor has one daughter, Francesca Hilton who is the great aunt of socialite Paris Hilton.
