BBC uncovers 4 more editorial breaches: includes children’s show Blue Peter
By: Kerry | September 20, 2007
It has just been announced that the BBC has uncovered four more editorial breaches, including one involving the flagship children’s show Blue Peter again.
An internal investigation has found an “underlying problem” with the Corporation’s editorial controls. The new Blue Peter fakery case was centred on changing the result of an online poll to name the programme’s cat.
The other fresh breaches concern the Tom Robinson Show and the Clare McDonnell Show on BBC 6 Music, and Film Cafe on the BBC Asian Network.
Apparently the head of programmes at BBC 6 Music has now resigned over the matter.
