Coming To A Store Near You This Christmas

Oh Dear Lord, Universal is releasing a sixth, that’s right sixth American Pie film this Christmas. It seems that Eugene Levy is the only actor from the original to return for the sixth instalment. Someone give that man another job!!!

The cast for American Pie Presents: Beta House includes American Pie: The Naked Mile alumni John White, Steve Talley, Jake Siegel, Jordan Prentice and Christopher McDonald alongside some fresh faces Meghan Heffren, Jonathan Keltz, Tyrone Savage and Nicholas Nicotera.

Hmm, if that didn’t get you excited here’s the official plot synopsis (sarcasm intended):

In American Pie Presents: Beta House, the gang’s all-new hijinks take them from the town of Great Falls to a university in Michigan. At the college, the party scene is in full swing, especially along fraternity row, where the competition for social supremacy is ferocious.

Our heroes Erik and Cooze pledge the infamous Beta Delta Xi House, and hilarity ensues as everyone gets swept up in the craziness, pranks, partying, and, of course, unpredictable sexual situations. Pitted against a rival House and their power-hungry leader, the rivalry gets so intense that only the long-banned competition, The Games, can settle the question of which House prevails. It’s up to the Betas to pull together and prove that some traditions deserve to be upheld!

I’ve steered clear of the American Pie direct-to-dvd spin offs. The reviews have always been awful and I’d rather not waste an hour of my life on something not even remotely funny.

Good or not, the American Pie DVD’s rake in loads of cash so you can’t blame them for trying!

Beta House will hit stores on December 26th.
