Ryan Reynolds Takes A Trip To Adventureland

Ryan Reynolds, fresh from his new movie The Nines, has been cast in SuperBad director Greg Mottola’s next film Adventureland, which also stars Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale). The film see’s Eisenberg play a college graduate in the summer of 1987, who was prepared to spend his vacation in Europe before starting Grad School. When his father is laid off from work, he finds himself stuck at his home in Long Island working at a local amusement park.

It has been reported that Ryan will play Connell, an aspiring rock star and “the icon of cool to all the kids working at the park.”

I personally think Ryan Reynolds is always over looked. It’s good to see him get some really strong roles. In his comedy roles, he’s great and he has shown us that he can be serious too in movies like The Nines. It’s about time we saw him more.
