Madeleine McCann’s Parents say “DNA Evidence Can Be Explained”

Kate and Gerry McCann say “a lot of the police evidence – including the collection of Madeleine’s DNA from the family’s hire car in Portuguese seaside town Praia da Luz – can be easily explained”.
On the 3rd of May, Kate and Gerry transported many of Madeleine’s items when they moved to a new apartment in the hire car; apparently these items included nappies that were worn by Madeleine’s twin brother and sister who also have similar DNA.
Also Martin Brunt (Sky News crime correspondent) said that in the 10 weeks after the car was hired, it is believed that up to 30 people have had access to the Renault.
We may never know the full truth about what has happened to the missing child Madeleine, but the forensic picture does get very confusing when the twins might have urinated in the car and also have very similar DNA to Madeleine’s.
Just think if Kate and Gerry McCann get convicted of something they did not do, as a parent that must be extreme pain (I guess time may bring out the truth).
