The latest edition of Famitsu has mentioned has talk about a third party game that will save the PlayStation 3 in Japan. Hmm, what’s the only thing that could possibly do this? FF7 maybe?
With all of the hype and the speculation circling a Final Fantasy 7 remake after the 2005 Technical Demo, and further implications in the booklet of the recently released Crisis Core; one can only expect that this game could possibly be the legendary FF7 remake.
Further sources quote that possibly this project is being developed by Square Enix, and what’s more important is that its totally being funded by Sony Entertainment themselves. A third-party game that Sony is willing to pay 100% for? They’re either stupidly foolish, or what’s more likely is that they know this project will sell like hotcakes. FF7 hotcakes anyone?
The Tokyo Game Show 2007 is scheduled to open tomorrow, expect to see a lot more speculation, news and entertainment goodness.
