BBC Radio One DJ Pleads Guilty To Breaching Restraining Order

Former BBC Radio One DJ Andy Kershaw has pleased guilty in court to breaching a restraining order banning him from approaching his ex-girlfriend. The DJ also admitted to drink-driving.

Kershaw, 48, admitted the offences when he appeared at the Deputy High Bailiff’s Court in Douglas on the Isle of Man where he and his ex partner live. Andy Kershaw was arrested last month for breaching a restraining order which banned him from approaching Juliette Banner, the mother of his two children. He was bailed after six days in jail.

During the hearing, Kershaw only spoke to confirm his name and address and enter his guilty pleas.
