ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT

The ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT is a midrange gpu specifically designed for High-Definition, solid output. However, when it comes to games; well, just don’t buy this card.

This card is superb for High-Defition output, and is unparalleled compared to some other cards. It’s very easy to install and with no internal cable connections when you’re opening your computer to fiddle about with it; which will please some people; especially those who aren’t gaming enthusiasts who open their computer every day.

For a midrange, mainstream card though; it doesn’t meet the 3d performance that is expected of it. It really is quite ugly, and to be honest if you want to play games don’t buy this. You’d be better off buying an older faster card; maybe even extending into a Nvidia 6 series.

However, we can’t really complain at a price range of around $150; I mean you’ll be paying for what you get; A nice card for use in a home theatre or something along those lines. Just don’t go out buying this for yourself, or for a relative expecting to play Crysis on it.
