Sara Cox Announced Live On Air That She Is Expecting

The Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox announced live on air that she is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Ben Cyzer, during her afternoon show yesterday.

Sara said that “I’m ridiculously happy to tell you I’m pregnant. Me and my lovely other half Ben are completely over the moon and feel incredibly blessed.”

Sara has already got a three-year-old daughter Lola, with ex-husband DJ Jon Carter. Sara moved into a new north London home with 31-year-old advertising executive Ben earlier this year.

When she was asked about if she would marry again Sara said that “I am never getting married. Maybe when we are 60 I might get married and have a little party at the old folks’ home - but no.”

Congratulations to you both and to Lola who will be a big sister.
