O2 confirms new Apple iPhone deal: Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone loses out
O2’s chief executive Peter Erskine, has all but confirmed that they will be the UK network that has secured the phone deal with Apple the use the iPhone exclusively in the UK. The Times reckon that O2 have now laid the groundwork and are preparing to make an announcement that will tie both Apple and O2 together.

Erskine has said that the iPhone is an iconic device which has tremendous appeal, but before O2’s chief gets too exited we still have to wait for Apple to official announce that O2 will be the lucky UK network.

It is thought that Apple will make the announcement at the forthcoming Mac Expo which will be held in Paris.
