Four In Ten Britons Would Exercise For Their Life
A study has revealed that just 4 in 10 Britons would be motivated to do more exercise if their life depended on it.

The British Heart Foundation published the results of the survey in conjunction with a new TV advert encouraging people to take more exercise.

The figures show that one person dies every 15 minutes as a result of physical inactivity now that’s a lot of people.

All that needs to be done to prevent that happening is by increasing their heart rate for just 30 minutes a day and this is said to help cut the risk of heart disease in half.

This is 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity five times a week, although the charity believes people should stay active every day.

The survey was based on 2,000 adults and only 38% of people would be motivated do more exercise if their life depended on it.

What do you think would help make people exercise more?

Do you exercise or do you think it is a waist of time?
