Cell Phone giant Nokia to buy U.S. mobile advertising firm Enpocket

Nokia who is the world’s top cell phone maker has now agreed to buy Enpocket, the U.S. mobile advertising firm, the cell phone giant Nokia has not disclosed how much the deal is costing them. Enpocket which is based in Boston employs 120 staff, who should not be affected by the deal.

This is such a great move for Nokia as mobile phones have massive potential in the advertising world, although it has been a bit slow of late. However this will change as cell phones are more of an entertainment center and will be much easier to market.

Nokia has been facing some stiff competition lately, what with the release of phones like the iPhone which could be one reason why the phone company decided to purchase the advertising firm Enpocket.
