59th Annual Primetime Emmy Award Winners

Last night saw the 59th annual Primetime Emmy Awards that took place in Los Angeles.

As we all thought the Sopranos took the top honor. It was great seeing the cast together on stage one last time.

Other winners included Ugly Betty star America Ferrera who took home the best actress in a comedy. When America accepted her award she said winning was “a dream come true,” and that she couldn’t wait to go to work tomorrow.

Sitcom 30 Rock which was created by SNL star Tina Fey took home the best comedy series while Al Gore received a standing ovation as his Current TV channel was honored for achievement in interactive television

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl pictured above took home the best supporting actress in a dramatic series and when she accepted her award Katherine said,” My own mother said I didn’t have a shot in hell of winning tonight.” Katherine went on to say, “So I don’t have anything prepared.”
