A budget airlines plane crashed today in Phuket, Thailand. The “one-two-go” airline was carrying 130 people on board as its crashed on landing due to heavy rain and strong winds. The remaining crash survivors flying from Bancock were taken to nearby hospitals and treated for a variety of injuries, stated Phuket deputy governor Vorapot Rajsima.
According to the deputy governor there are 5 critically ill out of these survivors with up to 60% burns on their bodies. Survivors described also of how the weather was extremely bad and rain was described as “torrential”. Also many have criticized the Bangkok-based low-cost airline One-Two-Go as it was said the plane was coming into landing much too fast. Shortly after landing, the fuselage went up in flames and many died due to burns.
Was this due to the airline and cheap management? What do you think?
