Louis Walsh received a “death threat” from a disgruntled hopeful at the Manchester X Factor auditions.
Retired gardener Johnny Rocco who is 67 years old performed Elvis Presley’s ‘Always On My Mind’ at the auditions.
Louis described Johnny as a “pub entertainer” Johnny said “Noooo, you’re joking. I’ve been offered work in Ireland, I’ve been offered work in Spain, I’ve worked in Majorca. Seriously, I can sing.”
Louis said that he would not be putting Johnny through to boot camp, causing Johnny to complain he said “I can’t believe it. I’ve got to say this, you’re talking stupid. Telling me I’m a pub singer? You don’t know what you’re on about. Well, remember this before I go. Remember the name Johnny Rocco.”
Sharon said that Johnny sounded like a hit man for the mafia, but the worst was yet to come because Johnny then pointed his finger close to Louis and gave him a warning.
Simon told Louis that “He’s just given you a death threat, that was a sign to the mafia worldwide to kill you.”
You would have been able to see this on tonight’s X Factor that aired at 6.20pm on ITV1.
