The hopeful presidential candidate, Ron Paul, said on Friday that America is constantly approaching an economic and constitutional crisis due to the significantly growing debt issue. Ron Paul’s views on the debt issue and mortgage crisis that America is supposedly facing, can be read here.
What’s interesting is that Ron Paul himself mentioned that even if he is elected President, the economic status of America is in such a state that the issue is beyond his control now.
“The time is coming. I believe that the great debate is coming,” Paul told those who attended his constitutional lecture at Seattle University.
“We have become soft on the issue of liberty and we have become more concerned about our personal safety and our personal economic well-being and an illusionary trust that government can make us perfectly safe and protect us perfectly in an economic way,” he said.

Supposedly? are you kidding? Pick up a newspaper. Don’t you know that by the time it hits the paper it’s yesterday’s news? I take it your still on the fence about the mortgage meltdown despite the 150 failed lenders, foreclosures up over 900%,inventories at an all time high and the median price declining for the first time in history. Where do you live? Fargo?
Ron Paul is not only right, but if he isn’t elected, the US is doomed.
I LOVE RON PAUL!! The treatment given to him by Fox News has DEFINITELY strenghtened my support for him!!!
If anything, it has shown me that it’s upto grassroots organizers to really get him elected, because he has to fight against the mainstream media to get any coverage at all!!
