A brand new satellite is due to be launched on Tuesday by DigitalGlobe, the company that provides satellite imagery for Google Earth.
This new satellite will sharpen the imagery on Google Earth and will increase the accuracy of the program.
The spacecraft containing this news satellite is called WorldView I and it will be launched on Tuesday.
With the addition of this new satellite, the company can now collect over 600,000 square kilometers of imagery each day, up from the current collection of that amount each week.
How much do you think this will improve Google Earth?
Do you think Google Earth invades peoples privacy, if images get too detailed?
