The helicopter that crashed in the rural areas of Scotland today was registered to the very well known rally driver Colin McRae, sources say.
Local Police in the area said there were no survivors after the aircraft collided near Lanark.
At the time of writing, it is not yet known whether the former world rally champion, Colin McRae himself was on board. However, reports say he does indeed have a pilot’s license.
A correspondent from Sky said: “My understanding is that the helicopter involved is registered to Colin McRae, the former world rally champion former world rally champion”
“He lives on an estate where this crash took place, the Jervis Wood estate just outside Lanark in the central belt of Scotland.”
“All police will say it that they are in touch with the family to try to establish the identity of those on board the helicopter.”
Do you think Colin McRae could have been in the incident? As much as we at Product Reviews hope this isn’t not the case, it certainly is a possibility.
