It has been reported that a representative for Britney Spears has insisted that Britney will not be making an appearance at the Emmy Awards this Sunday.

Rumours over the past few days have suggested that Britney was planning to perform at the ceremony this weekend, in an attempt to put her MTV Video Music Awards embarrassment behind her.
