Hurricane Humberto has made landfall in the US state of Texas

Meteorologist Jim Sweeney has said that Category 1 Hurricane Humberto made landfall around 5 miles east of High Island, near Sea Rim State Park.
Although any storm is not good news, because it’s only a category one hurricane and expected to weaken as it continues more inland.
The far southeast corner of Texas from Galveston Island eastward is the area that is expected to be hit the hardest by the hurricane.
