Earth’s 7ft 2in hero has proudly become the first ever video game character to be reincarnated into a waxwork. Last month we showed you some spy shots of the speculative Chief during creation, but now we can confirm he is standing in Madame Tussauds 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Funnily enough, it took about ten wax artists 892 hours of pure elbow grease hours and 1000lbs of the wax to create the Master Chief.

Halo 3 is set to be the best-selling game of all time by the looks of things, having broken the record for having more pre-orders than any other game, not only on the Xbox 360, but out of all the consoles.

Would you have wanted any other game character to be the first to be showcased in Madam Tussauds? Let us know.

The first waxwork of a game character should have been Solid Snake.

Halo 3 rules. Look Hideo solid snake isnt American so he cat be in there so plyz quit your crap, anyways solid snake would get owned by Master cheif, even splinter cells sam fisher would own him since splinter cell condemmed is going to be better than metal gear when it comes out. Go to your japan forums and talk nonsense. And another thing metal gear hasnt never had record breaking sales so Solid snake shouldnt be in the waxwork.

Damn you guys are morons… Hideo Kojima is the creator of the Metal Gear series. Ya know… that fricken amazing game that 11 year olds wouldn’t know anything about? No record breaking sales?

Apparently all video games need to be over-hyped and advertised in order to have awesome sales, right? Best selling does not entitle what you may think. Nor should it exclude the greater games. So, you sir, are an idiot (for lack of a more appropriate and endearing term).

    The more you know…

    Why is Pete Wentz there?
