According to Reuters and two decades after a nude photo cost Vanessa Williams her title as Miss America in 1984, it now seems that Americans may be adopting a more ho-hum attitude towards people who bare all for the cameras.
Experts have said that the Internet and more explicit TV are fostering a more relaxed response by Americans to public displays of bare flesh, even if many people profess to be more conservative.
An example of this is the nude photos of High School Musical star 18-year-old Vanessa Hudgens. Last Thursday the photos turned up on the net and the day after Vanessa made an apology to her fans and Disney said that they would continue negotiating her appearance in the third High School Musical which is said to be the most popular program in US cable TV history.
A lot of parents got annoyed with the photos saying that Vanessa was a role model to their children and this should not have happened saying that though Paul Levinson who is the communication and media professor at Fordham University said that “I do think that general attitudes about nudity are becoming more relaxed, but these changes take time, which is why there’s still mixed responses,” what do you think?
We all know that millions of wired youths share private or embarrassing pictures or videos with each other daily on cell phones or social Web sites like Facebook and MySpace.
What do you think of all this?

what the heck vanessa you are going crazy nude photos ummm like OMG!!!
I think Vanessa has the right to take nude pics. its not her fault parents idolise her as a role modle to their kids. She is meerly expressing her sexuality and if the public has a problem with it them they’ve ovboiusly become far to “beige” in this politically correct nation. Good on ya Vanessa, also your very hot…
i agree with nanks, she has the right to take her own photos and she is very beautiful too
Disagree with the first post, agree with the other two. Apparently, that’s what’s wrong with this country. Americans are prude. They see a nude photo and suddenly, it’s National Enquirer news. If this country was more like most countries in Europe…where nudity is normal, not shocking…Vanessa’s nude photo would never have gotten so blown out of proportion as it did here in prudish America!
