I wonder why prisoners should even have them there in the first place.
No video games in jail? Thats cruel and unusual punishment. I can’t believe their right to enjoy video games in prison is being taken away. Everybody call your congressmen and tell them that this is unfair.

What happened to prison being a place to punish criminals, a place to punish people who have commited crimes, a rehabilitation center to help criminals turn their life around? Other than not owning anything in prison whats the draw backs? You don’t have to work, depending on what you did you can have your own room, you get a better cable package than I have at home. No wonder the jails are full, going to jail isn’t a punishment anymore. I believe there should be no television, only limited international news presented in written form. If you can’t read, the jail has a school to teach you.
Wow, the fact that this is even a debate says alot about the shortfalls of our prison system. These people are in prison for a reason and why we feel the need to make them comfortable never ceases to amaze me. Maybe if we made more an effort to make them uncomfortable we wouldn’t have so many repeat offenders.
