She said that an abusive marriage drove her to shoot and kill him with a shotgun, now Mary Winkler wants to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show and to get custody of her three daughters (girls aged 2, 8 and 10).
Her former in-laws Dan and Diane Winkler want to adopt the girls and terminate her parental rights.
She has served just 5 months in jail and 2 more months in a mental health centre after killing her husband.
After a county judge has denied Mary Winkler permission to travel to Chicago to talk on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Do you think Mary Winkler an apparent battered woman should get custody of her three daughters and be able to talk on the Oprah Winfrey Show?
