Kanye West states that he and Britney Spears were exploited by MTV: is he right

Kanye West has that that both he and Britney Spears were exploited by MTV at the recent MTV Video Music Awards. Kanye has said that when he saw Britney come on stage he knew that she was not herself, her body was not as trim as it once was and she seemed to be stumbling across the stage while doing a bad job at lip-syncing to her song.
Well we covered that story earlier today, but all it seems to do is make Kanye look like a little child who has not got his own way. Many people go to the MTV awards every year and come out empty handed, but you do not hear them complain.
It seems as if Kanye thinks that he is the best thing out there at the moment, which he is not.

Hell yeah Kanye should be pissed off that fat ass Britney got to do what he rightly calls the “big thing.” People need to start addressing the racism that still exists in the entertainment industry. I give him props for standing up to it even if it seems to some like he is being petty. I see it as the complete opposite: for MTV NOT TO acknowledge Kanyes talents and success they are telling black artists and black audiences that these black entertainers are not worthy of such rewards. The threshold for black artists and other minorities clearly stems from a racial bias and not with the number of records sold and/or fan base. IF EVEN Kanye can’t get recognition for his talents, then which black entertainer besides Michael Jackson, are they going to acknowledge? And what I am seeing and what everybody else sees is that there isn’t many. Not because there aren’t enough talented black and minority artists, but because the entertainment industry is rooted in racist propaganda.
