Best Soundtrack of The Year?

Juno is not only one of the best movies of the year, it has one hell of a soundtrack too. It seems that those behind the Juno soundtrack have taken a leaf out of Wes Anderson’s book and decided to take viewers on a journey with the music and expose them to styles and artists that the wouldn’t usually listen to.

Jason Reitman, director of Juno, has said that star Ellen Page had a lot to do with what songs were on the soundtrack,

“At one point, I asked Ellen Page before we started shooting, ‘what do you think Juno listens to?’ And she said ‘The Moldy Peaches’. She went on my computer, played the songs, and I fell in love with it. Diablo and I discussed putting a Moldy Peaches song in it where the characters would sing to each other. I got in touch with Kimya Dawson of The Moldy Peaches and she started sending me her work, which was beautiful, and that became a lot of the soundtrack.”

So, if you’re wondering what songs are on the Juno soundtrack but don’t want to wait until Fox Searchlight release it, you’d better read below.
