It seems as if a team of hackers have managed to unlock the Apple iPhone so that it can be used using with GSM-based wireless carriers, at the moment the iPhone uses the AT&T network. The hackers have started to distribute this solution as a free download across many websites.
The hackers have called this Apple iPhone unlocking solution iUnlock which they class as the sim unlocking tool. Many iPhone owners have said that they have downloaded the unlock tool and said that it was successful.
If you are not technaly minded then you should stay away from this free download as you need some knowledge of SFTP.

The owner is a cheap jerk - he sold me the more expensive of the two chargers I could have used, without even suggesting the cheaper one when I was clearly shocked by the price. When I bought one for half the price down the street and tried to return it a couple of hours later, he refused to give me my money back. Even threatened to call security when I wanted to wait until the next customer came up so I could use my credit for their purchase and get my hard-earned money back. Don’t shop here. They obviously don’t understand the meaning of customer service.
