Crysis multiplayer BETA program video trailer: Is this game a Halo killer?

The video below shows the first footage of the Crysis multiplayer BETA program and must say looks awesome, what a fistful ah? If you watch the video you will notice the gun wielding man following a chicken oh yes nothing better than to beat your chicken.
What I would like to have seen thou is the chicken running inside the shed then coming out wielding a gun and shooting your arse off, now that would have been fun and better gameplay (but oh no how boring).
Many people will say that Crysis is no where near a Halo 3 killer, but is it or is it not is something you will have to answer for us.

well considering that all of my Halo lovin’ friend don’t play pc games… I’m thinking that the answer is NO.
Halo players are console players. I’m in college and the playing environment tends to be more sports-like. Ie, a bunch of people with wireless controllers, a big tv, food and large supply of beverages.
I really don’t think that most Halo players are PC people.
