Sir Alex Ferguson was said to have been attacked by someone about 4.30pm at Euston station on Monday.
Following the alleged attack British Transport Police arrived at the scene where Sir Alex was later confirmed as one of the victims.
He did later on attend a function in London so he must have not been badly hurt, the charges being brought against the man in court today are one count of ABH, one public order offence and one count of assault.
