For just £1.99 a week you can use Omniphone’s “MusicStation” unlimited music downloads service and this is something that Vodafone phone users will get the option of very soon.
Vodafone has signed a deal with Omniphone and those that opt in to the deal will get access to over one million tracks from music brands like Warner Music Group, EMI Music, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and other independents…this is a powerful service that has seen kings of the music industry get together for MusicStation.
If you’re going to be getting a new Vodafone handset in the coming months leading up to Christmas then you may find this new service pre-loaded onto your new mobile phone.
Existing phones that have 2.5G and 3G can still get the service via Vodafone live!
Currently we know that the Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman phone, Samsung F700 and the new 8GB Nokia N95 will get the software included.
The MusicStation service will let you share tracks and playlists with other people and give you the ability to create a music-based social network.
