Ron Paul has earned his right as being the president of the internet with his obvious popularity amongst the web. His thoughts and ideas provoke many to question him, whilst thousands are backing his every word with reason.

The unfortunate American policy of “tax, borrow and print [money]” is pushing this country into a financial ruin, says U.S. presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Paul quite rightly said that the country’s financial issues, that he described as a crisis, is one of the more significant problems that is concerning many accross the country.

“This country is mortgaged. Our government is mortgaged,” Paul said during a meeting with The Gazette’s Editorial Board.

“The wealth is not there. The only thing they can do is print more money. We’ve lost three million manufacturing jobs. They’re overseas and they’re not coming back,”

“More taxes won’t resolve the financial woes, but stopping foreign aid would help”, he said.

I doubt by that comment that he meant that all foreign aid was a bad idea, but I can see the point he’s trying to get across. If US were to stop aiding other countries and perhaps started aiding their own country, the financial mortgage crisis wouldn’t be as critical as it is right now.

“The way to neutralize this is to send money to nobody,” Paul said.

Interestingly, Paul noted that most American foreign aid never gets to the poor people it’s intended to help, which is a valid and somewhat worrying point. But the government can’t just halt loans, can they?

Ron Paul has expressed his views to country about the war President George Bush tangled up in, in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“I would just come home. We made a mistake. We went in there under false pretenses. It’s sad. It was not worth 3,300 American lives and 25,000 casualties. We need to change course. We’re continuing to do the same thing — send more troops. Just back off. You don’t need any money for that.”

An interesting fact is that George W Bush, the current president of America, has borrowed more money than all the past presidents combined. More on this can be read here.

Dr Paul seems like a very intelligent man, but would his views really benefit the whole of the states? Do you agree with Ron Paul’s views? Let us know.

Pay it off now or never pay it off.

Dr Paul is the best thing since JFK. This is one of the most important men in HISTORY.

The sad fact is that most people have no understanding of how economics works, or how the monetary system works, or how the banking system works. If they did, they’d worry FAR less about other issues and far more about straightening things out domestically. A sadder fact is that only a few of the 2008 candidates actually understand any of it - none as well as Ron Paul. It doesn’t take China or Saudi Arabia pulling their investments out of the market or flooding it with US dollars to throw the US into a recession/depression (although China has spoken of their monetary “nuclear option”) since our economy is so fragile at the moment - but it doesn’t make anyone sleep better when they understand that it is easily done.

With a wrecked economy, there won’t be any foreign aid, no illegals coming for jobs & services, no terrorist bothering to strike. Only Americans wondering, like in 1929, what the hell just happened….why unemployment is going up as fast as the price of goods and what happened to their futures.

Ron Paul is the only answer.

We need new ideas and policies in America. At least with a Ron Paul Presidency we’d have a chance. If you believe in National Sovereignty, and reject the scourge of Globalism (look at the EU), then vote for Ron Paul. Otherwise, the remaining CFR candidates will destroy the greatest nation on Earth.

Fantastic post here - thanks to everyone. Me too I have donated to the RP campaign 2x and will do more again.

This is the first time I have ever donated to a pres campaign. I honestly think that out of all the Republican candidates only Ron Paul can beat Hillary.

Go Ron Paul — I just purchased a RP for Pres stamp and I am going to the bank and taking out 2,000 one dollar bills, stamping them with the RP stamp, taking them back to the bank and re deposit them, then the next day go back to a different branch and take out another 2,000 one dollar bills and doing the same thing. Heh if anyone gets one of these dollar bills let me know… hell I am going to stamp everything I come across…

Join the Ron Paul rEVOlution !!!

  6. Wishful says:

What I love about Dr. Ron Paul is that in spite of his consitent historical record, he isn’t asking us to Trust him. He is asking us to trust the constitution.
If every candidate and representative actually honored their oaths of office, and were willing to be constrained by constitutional limits, none could do us harm.
None could “buy” votes from one demographic by promising to take from another. Party politics would be no more.
    Shouldn’t this be the standard?

  7. JordanX32 says:

Ron Paul is a truly noble man who cares about the real issues, the big issues- he understands what’s wrong with this country and wants to make it right: restore the constitution, give us our rights back, and put the government back in its place. Things will start getting A LOT BETTER for Americans with Ron Paul as our president. He doesn’t want to RULE THE WORLD like Bush, Hillary, Rudy and most of the rest. Ron Paul wants Americans to have freedom in themselves. My family supports Ron Paul. Abolish the federal reserve private bankers, who are way too greedy for us to ever be free of them. Ron Paul is the only man (or woman) who has the courage and the strength to stand up to them and win. Go Ron Paul!
