The massive media giant controlled by tycoon Rupert Murdoch, News Corp, will not pull its videos from iTunes as NBC Universal has done.
However, News Corp did say that they expect Apple to offer a more flexible pricing system in future.
NBC pulled their videos from iTunes as they felt iTunes pricing should be more flexible.
Peter Chernin, News Corp’s president and chief operating officer said:
“Right now we have a perfectly good relationship with Apple. But let me say this, we’re the ones who should determine what the fair price for our product is, not Apple.”
Do you think Apple should be more flexible with their iTunes pricing?
Who should decide the price, Apple or News Corp?
At least when people download via iTunes, News Corp gets some money. If not, people will download illegally, for free, and News Corp will get no money at all.
