Income Protection Insurance

For someone who is self employed or owns a small business then income protection insurance could play an important part.

The ABI (Association of British Insurers) has issued new guidance to help find the most suitable policy. The BIBA (British Insurance Brokers Association is advising that sole traders investigate the subject.

“If they have an injury or unable to work then they won’t have any income, so how will they be able to pay the bills” Graeme Trudgill spokesman for BIBA commented.

He also stated that sole traders should insure their most valuable asset – themselves.
