Will Smith Stars In 7 Pounds

Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriele Muccino help Will Smith got nominated for an Oscar, so can we blame him for wanting to work with him for his next movie, Seven Pounds? In the movie, Smith plays a man who falls in love while he’s trying to kill himself. There is not yet any indication as to where the title fits in.

I have to commend Will Smith’s film choices of late, he seems to have been choosing some pretty dark material, and has shown a side to his acting skills that not many people have seen before. I Am Legend is gearing up for it’s release at the beginning of next year, the film sees Smith as the last man left in a world ravaged by a vampire-like virus. He’s currently filming Hancock, a superhero movie, where he plays a superhero trying to get laid, if only he could find a woman who could cope with the enormous force of his orgasms (hence the original title, Tonight He Comes)

We’re saluting Will Smith on his latest film choices, we’ve not seen enough of this side of him.
