Sarah Silverman slams Britney Spears
What do comedians love to do best, that’s right slamming other celebrities and this is one thing Sarah Silverman (host of the MTV Video Music Awards) loves to-do.

Sarah Silverman laid off Paris Hilton at the VMA but slams Britney Spears as her latest victim; she poked fun at the singer’s early rise to fame.

Britney Spears might not be the favorite of the press of late, but when Sarah Silverman jokes about Britney’s kids by saying “Have you seen Britney’s kids? Oh my god, they are the most adorable mistakes you will ever see!”

I just think Sarah Silverman goes too far, picking on Britney is one thing but the kid’s just shows the person she is…small minded trash that makes fun of all but herself, real comedians can joke about all and themselves.

Let’s hear your views on this comedian that loves to call peoples kids “adorable mistakes”.

I totally agree with you. Britney Spears has had a rough time recently in the press and she’s obviously trying to come out the other side. Her performance at the VMA Awards was brave after all that was said about her in the press and I have a lot of respect for her. As for Sarah Silverman…
She had no right to call Britney’s children “Adorable Mistakes!” I hope she didn’t get a laugh for that because it’s one thing to slag off Britney, but to bring her children in to it is sick and twisted.

She needs to take a reality check on herself, this presenting gig has made her think she’s the funniest thing around at the moment and i’m sorry, she’s not!

Sarah Silverman’s dastardly comments about Britney and her children show what a low class piece of crap she is. She is as gross as you can get and I do not understand how a piece of garbage like her can make a living in the entertainment industry - she should be censured for this one - sadly, she gives Jews a bad name.

i think it was absolutely horrible what sarah silverman said. She should really be a little bit more considerate, especially talking about someone’s kids. It just shows how inconsiderate and immature she really is. Brittney was obviously nervous enough with her performance and tabloid stories already, I think MTV should have nixed the childless comedian.

“I love the saying what comes around goes around”.

Sarah had no excuse for talking about Britney’s children. As stated in the article to slam Britney is one thing. Even the the audience did really feel her jokes only for her to take it up another notch and make a statement about her kids how juvenile was that for a professional comedian. I would encourage MTV to find someone who is actually funny not malicious to participate in the next VMA’s.

    Sara you are not funny.

BOYCOTT HER NEW SHOW !!! Where was Gwen , and Bono , and Bon Jovi , and any of the other great artists … how about even Fergie or Shakira …. everyone from the “hood” made it …. oh … & Justine …… MTV … wow … you’ve come a long way baby …… it’s a shame ! Brittany needed a few more clothes … her performance was ok …. but the person who was REALLY bad was Sara Silverman …. IT is SOO TACKY and LOW CLASS to put down someone’s children …. does she have any …. I would say NOT !!!! BOYCOTT HER NEW SHOW ON COMEDY CENTRAL >>>>>>

I hate sarah silverman!! after all she said about people has she looked in a mirror! she isn’t perfect. she isn’t pretty or funny! I will not watch anything that she is on now. If MTV hires her for anything else I will also boycott MTV! I can’t wait for her to have children and i hope other stupid comedian talks about them, i bet she wont like it too much.

  7. scami says:

I don’t think I have ever been more bothered by a comedy routine. It was about as funny as torturing and killing refugees. I can’t stand her. She is BITCH.

I’m not a Britney fan per se, but I actually felt bad after watching her sluggishly embarassing performance. Personally, I think MTV hyped this performance as a comeback knowing it would be such a sensational train wreck.

And, I think Silverman demonstrated once again that she’s just not funny and is simply, lowest-of-the-low obnoxious and crude. I know comedians are not always the kindest people but where do you draw the line? Talking about someone’s kids? For Silverman, there is no line.

And, for some comedians, saying “there is no line” translates to pioneering genius like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, or Denis Leary. This was just plain old “kick ‘em when you’re down, and your kids too” desperation.

And the lack of applause I think demonstrated how unfunny she was and how uncomfortable she made the audience.

I sincerely hopes this blows up in Silverman’s face and that the network execs and press realize that there is no substance of worth behind her obnoxious, dysmorphically trapped teenage rage, and slash-and-burn assaults on anyone or any group of people.

I’m sure her parents are very proud of her shameful assault on a compromised person. I’m sure her mother’s hairy vagina from whence she came and her father’s Hebraically mutilated schlong were glistening with glee.

I am with this article and Lucy on this one. I’m not really a Britney fan but at the sametime I can see what she is going through I mean you can see the sadness in her eyes. She needs to be left alone by everything and everyone. She has got to grieve her marriage and get back to that place where she was happy once more. I’m sure she feels like she has no one around considering she can’t even talk to her mother and she’s got all the wrong ppl around her. Sarah Silverman bringing Britney’s children into it was a LOW LOW blow and you can tell even the audience thought it was way uncalled for. Just like Lucy I have yet to see Sarah Silverman make jokes about her self and career.
