MTV VMA host Sarah Silverman laid off Paris Hilton: slams Britney Spears

I totally agree with you. Britney Spears has had a rough time recently in the press and she’s obviously trying to come out the other side. Her performance at the VMA Awards was brave after all that was said about her in the press and I have a lot of respect for her. As for Sarah Silverman…
She had no right to call Britney’s children “Adorable Mistakes!” I hope she didn’t get a laugh for that because it’s one thing to slag off Britney, but to bring her children in to it is sick and twisted.

She needs to take a reality check on herself, this presenting gig has made her think she’s the funniest thing around at the moment and i’m sorry, she’s not!

Sarah Silverman’s dastardly comments about Britney and her children show what a low class piece of crap she is. She is as gross as you can get and I do not understand how a piece of garbage like her can make a living in the entertainment industry – she should be censured for this one – sadly, she gives Jews a bad name.

i think it was absolutely horrible what sarah silverman said.She should really be a little bit more considerate, especially talking about someone’s kids. I hate sarah silverman!! after all she said about people has she looked in a mirror! she isn’t perfect. she isn’t pretty or funny! I will not watch anything that she is on now. I don’t think I have ever been more bothered by a comedy routine. It was about as funny as torturing and killing refugees. I can’t stand her. She is BITCH.

I’m not a Britney fan per se, but I actually felt bad after watching her sluggishly embarassing performance. Personally, I think MTV hyped this performance as a comeback knowing it would be such a sensational train wreck.

And, I think Silverman demonstrated once again that she’s just not funny and is simply, lowest-of-the-low obnoxious and crude. I know comedians are not always the kindest people but where do you draw the line? Talking about someone’s kids? For Silverman, there is no line.

And, for some comedians, saying “there is no line” translates to pioneering genius like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, or Denis Leary. This was just plain old “kick ‘em when you’re down, and your kids too” desperation.

And the lack of applause I think demonstrated how unfunny she was and how uncomfortable she made the audience.

I sincerely hopes this blows up in Silverman’s face and that the network execs and press realize that there is no substance of worth behind her obnoxious, dysmorphically trapped teenage rage, and slash-and-burn assaults on anyone or any group of people.

I’m sure her parents are very proud of her shameful assault on a compromised person. I’m sure her mother’s hairy vagina from whence she came and her father’s Hebraically mutilated schlong were glistening with glee.

I am with this article and Lucy on this one. I’m not really a Britney fan but at the sametime I can see what she is going through I mean you can see the sadness in her eyes. She needs to be left alone by everything and everyone. She has got to grieve her marriage and get back to that place where she was happy once more. Uhh….Did you see the same show that I did?! She was just plain BAD. She couldn’t even lip sync to the music. Yes, she lost weight but not enough to wear that outfit. I read about what she has been through, but if she really wanted to shove it in everyones face that she can make a comeback then she should have gone out there and rocked the stage not staggered around like she was drunk. She could bearly get through a song. She is just proving that she will not be able to get up there and do an entire concert.

I am appaulled at what Sarah Sukverman said regarding Britney. Britney Spears has been going through a rough couple of years due to putting her heart in to Kevin Federline and him not being around during the pregnancy or for the first few months of Sean Preston’s life. All of a sudden he is father of the year because she has been taking care of him still, working on her album, and taking of the kids! This girl has been in the spotlight her whole life. Sarah Silverman is just some pasty white trash bitch who hasn’t gotten laid in years and is picking on someone who, is 12 years younger than her and has achieved more than Sarah ever will.

I think it is about time that Britney gets an awakening. I think what Sarah said was pretty funny. I used to love Britney Spears but I’m way over that now. First off I didn’t even know who this Sarah chick was when she came on the awards. I now see how unfunny she is and would never give her the time of day at all. I am not a Britney fan either but Sarah’s performance was worse!! MTV has really lost any magic they may have had in the past. The only good thing is that they shortened the length of the show, maybe they could cut it all together. I have nothing else to say, let’s move on people.

If you have to have jokes explained to you, AND you don’t even realize who the joke is actually aimed at then you should probably stay away from critizing jokes and realize you don’t have a sense of humor.
