Congressman Tom Lantos: reminds me of what Ron Paul has said

I have just been watching the Sky News live feed on the congressional hearing about Iraq and when Congressman Tom Lantos spoke I was taken back a bit about what he had to say, it seemed to all become clear.
Although I am sure not everyone will agree with me, but what Tom Lantos said reminded me a lot of the views I have been hearing from Ron Paul.
They might not both share all the same views, but Iraq is one view they both agree on and that’s get the US troops home.
I can understand both sides of the story on Iraq, but I do find myself siding with the views of Tom Lantos and Ron Paul about Iraq.

There was Colette Avital, a Labor Party member of the Israeli Knesset, on a trip to Capitol Hill, worried about the prospect of war in the Middle East. Rep. Tom Lantos, the ranking Democrat on the House Committee on International Affairs, took her by the hand, and, according to Ha’aretz, tried to reassure her with these soothing words:
“My dear Colette, don’t worry. You won’t have any problem with Saddam. We’ll be rid of the bastard soon enough. And in his place we’ll install a pro-Western dictator, who will be good for us and for you.”
Good for us, and for Israel – but not so good for Iraq.

He is a fake, a phony and a complete fraud. He constantly stresses his victimhood: first as a Holocaust survivor in Nazi-run Hungary and then as a refugee when the Communists took power. He fancies himself as the leading human rights specialist on Capitol Hill. In fact, this odious so-called Democrat is a master of deception and propaganda and a wallower in corrupt campaign money.
Meet California Congressman Tom Lantos. The Gollum-like Lantos has launched his latest string of invectives at France, Germany, and Belgium. He said “the failure of these three states to honor their commitments is beneath contempt” and that he is “particularly disgusted by the blind intransigence and utter ingratitude” of America’s three NATO allies.
Lantos, who represents California’s 12th District (San Mateo), has a history of just plain lying and intimidating others in order to push his sordid agenda.
Well then you’re at odds with the majority of We the People.
With some 70+ % of Americans want foreign policy change, and to get our troops out of Iraq.
That is a moral stance. According to the biblical precept of a “just war”.
Ron Paul by the way also has more donations than any other candidate, how’s that for supporting not only the popular will of the American People, but also Supporting our Troops?

And I’m sorry but the “bloodbath” if we leave scenario doesn’t hold water if the main reason for all the current “bloodbath” is the fact that we’re there. One side killing the other wise because they support our occupation. Break out of the media propaganda and do a little indepedent research and free thinking. That’s all that can save this country from destruction.
Lantos speaks for Israel and worried Zionists only. Lantos is trying to distance the Zionists from the call to war(s).
Once the less discerning figure out our boys are dying for Israel, visions of Pogroms and Lost Power dance through Zionists’ heads.
It’s time for Americans to get a backbone, and start pulling these weeds from Congress and the news media.
