On Sunday Britney Spears launched her highly anticipated comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards

Britney whose professional achievements have been overshadowed by her personal crises in recent years, performed “Gimme More” in a black sequined bikini and knee-high boots.

It has been reported that when Britney’s performance was over Comedian Sarah Silverman took to the stage and said that the singer’s young children were “the most adorable mistakes you’ll ever see.” Was that really necessary.

It was not the only excitement at the two-hour show. Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, both former husbands of model Pamela Anderson, got into a fight while Alicia Keys was performing.

What did you think of Britney’s performance?

Oh lord. I didn’t watch the show – who cares about MTV anymore? – but read the review and watched the YouTube video. All I could think of was while watching Spears was “Her poor mother! All those dance lessons and putting up with that brat for years, and this is her reward!”

WHO let that woman on the stage – somebody needs to be fired.

Long live rock n roll. But if this is rock, it needs to die. MTV just not getting it anymore.

Well, I’m off to download some old ZZ Top and Cream.
