My recent post concerning whether Ron Paul’s popularity was at stake or not with his recent stabs from the media has indeed had a very definite response from Dr. Paul’s army of supporters.

The post, which can be read here, well into 100+ comments all of which are in his defense can indeed clear up that in no way is his popularity dropping with some comments giving the impression that the Fox News treatment has strengthened their vote for him.

The comment given by James shows a different view on the points made in the article which I find interesting:

James

Sorry, but your post is only partially correct.

Regarding Ron being a hypocrite. Yes, this is true, but he is less of a hypocrite then guys like Romney.

Regarding Ron being an opportunist. Sure, this is also true. But on the other hand, who isnt?

Ron has explicitly said he does NOT believe that 9/11 was an inside job. So, I don’t think saying he believes is conspiracy theories is correct.

Regarding consitutional rights of child predators…well this is a tough one, it may be that he’s interested in maintaining the due process rights of all criminals, as guaranteed by the consitution.

Safer without the CIA. I don’t think he’s a big fan of the CIA, but he recognized the importance of intelligence gathering.

Regarding saying that Iran has no military, well. I don’t know about what Ron said, but you might consider the fact that Iran’s military is probably not capable of serious harm against America.

Ron does not support the war. Its only natural that he would vote for it. — Theres very little to like about the war in general and a vote to defund it seems imminently sensible. Saying he doesn’t support the troops is nonsense if you look at his record of veterans affairs.

Thanks for an interesting post!

Best,

James

It is extremely clear that Ron Paul, even though he may not be the most popular candidate in the odds of betting, sure has some worthy supporters that will stick with him to the end.

Personally, even after all the comments given showing how wanted he is, I do find it hard to see him ever reaching the goal of president of the states. However, if there was a title for the president of the world wide web, we can all clearly see that Ron Paul will have grabbed it by now. Why do I say this?

Randy

I am a Canadian. I wish I was a American just so I could vote for this great man!

With hundreds of comments along the lines of this, it’s pretty hard not to.

Are you a supporter of Ron Paul? Do you think he has the potential to become the President of the States?

Whether he has the potential or not, the internet loves him- fact.

I did my usual Sunday talking to folks at the flea market and at garage sales while wearing a Paul T-shirt. Today two people thanked me for turning them on to Ron Paul and for explaining certain issues to them pertaining to the federal reserve and how the private bankers create money out of thin air and then use that created money as a reserve to create more. I informed them ofthe CFR and their commitment to the NWO and the war, where elitists and bankers make more money and what has happened to Iraq and how much liberty they actually had before we liberated them. We spoke for a good hour regarding out of control cops and illegal searches going on. That the statutes are based to collect revenue and how many people are locked up for victimless crimes while the prison and criminal justice system is the fastest growing industry in the country. Judges illegally denying jury trials and lawyers just making money on people’s misfortunes. It’s pretty pathetic. Anyway, these folks had never heard of RP until I turned them on today and gave them a slim jim. I encouraged then to tell others and look him up on the web. That he would speak for himself. They were very thankful and enthusiastic Get rid of the IRS, one said. Thats enough for me to vote for him. They are tired of the same crap as most people are. Thats 2 more form me and maybe two more from each of them. Its RP for me, I know I could do more and I should. We will soon have the Paint the Town RON Day here where I live when we will plaster this town with Ron Paul signs and banners EVERYWHERE! The revolution will soon be in full swing! RP for me!

It’s clear Dr. Paul is growing in popularity because people want to hear the truth. I’ve been watching Freedom to Fascism in which film maker Aaron Russo interviewed him about how much control the US government has in the lives of its citizens… people need to hear this stuff, and we need a brave leader who will stand for government for the people and by the people…

I really like Ron Paul. Ever since that Giuliani spat, I can’t stope looking him up.

I just heard he will be on Bill O’Reilly on Monday. I hope he convinces O’Reilly to turn in his microphone.

  4. Yes, I believe he can win. :)

We need him and every day more people are realising it.

  5. Paul Furlong says:

Again, could we please have more mainstream media so the nation can see what freedom looks like?

Government has three functions: Defend our country, keep criminals (those who make victims) off the street and settle civil disputes. Anything else can be done better privately or not at all.

  6. Bill Moore says:

According to the national polls I do not support Ron Paul. The filters they put on those polls do not consider me a “potential republican voter”.

I will tell you, I most certainly support him. I’ve donated a whopping $10 to any presidential campaign before Ron Paul ran and now I am working on donating the max $2300.

I have done more for Ron Paul’s candidacy than my own LP Constitutional run. I will be driving as many people in my precinct personally to the polls on primary day.

And do I support Ron Paul according to those so called “scientific polls”?

    No.

  7. justin says:

maybe there is so much internet hype for him because people are on the internet and we feel it is a very useful tool in getting the truth out? just a thought… we cant be on tv as a tv host, but we can sure tell the truth over the net.

  8. Shahzad says:

With all the support Ron Paul is picking up day to day in the form of meet up group membership on http://www.meetup.com, this is going to be the election where the public will awaken and change American politics by helping put a smart man into power rather then just another moron.

Think about it, people are self organizing and spending there own money to make signs for Ron Paul and organizing events to get his name out to the people.

This is what’s called “grassroots support”, have you ever seen this before?

I find it interesting how people like this write find ways to disrespect this man and just want him to go away.

Remember this is the primaries, this is where we should be voting for the person we like, it does not matter if they just get a few votes, this is where we should vote our hearts and not be disrespecting people who want to run.

If Ron Paul wins it will be a history making event, because we will have won people of people and not the media.

  9. Hoof Hearted says:

    Ron Paul Rocks!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Tom says:

The MSM are not covering RP so our only outlet is the internet and stomping in the streets.
The Ron Paul rEVOLution is underway!
